If you are now in an abusive situation, please be careful, and get out. There is help available for everything you need to get out of the situation, have your material needs met, and get the counseling you need to recover.
Every phone book has 800 numbers in the front cover and your local police department can tell you where to go. They will also protect you and your children. Churches also have lists of resources and will do all they can to get you to safety.
